Overview & Special Stitches
Puff stitch is a 1 row repeat made up with stitches similar to a hdc but with extra yarn overs.
- You can do more yarn overs if you would like a fuller puff.
- The higher you pull your loops up the fuller your puff will be also. Experiment to see what you prefer.
Puff Stitch:
- yo and insert hook into the stitch. yo and pull through. Pull your loop up slightly to match the height of your ch3.
- Instead of completing the half double crochet, yo again. Insert the hook into the same stitch as before, then yo and pull it through.
- Repeat the same steps once more (a total of 3 times). You should have 7 loops on your hook.
- To close the stitch, yo and pull through all 7 loops on your hook.
