Overview & Special Stitches
Triad stitch is a 2 row repeat. This is a beautiful decorative stitch…one of my favourites!!
- Triad Stitch: Yo, insert your hook in the st, yo and pull up a tall loop (3 lps on your hook), yo, insert your hook in the next stitch, yo and pull up another tall loop (5 lps on your hook), yo, insert your hook in the next st, yo and draw up a loop (7 lps on your hook), yo and pull through 6 loops, yo and pull through 2 loops.
- When pulling up a tall loop, this will be the approximate height as your double crochet.
- I like to pull it up nice and high because you then get a bit of a puffy effect.
Foundation Chain
Chain an even number of stitches.
