Overview
The Boxed Block stitch is a 2 row repeat pattern using dc and ch stitches.
- This is a great open stitch pattern that works up nice and fast.
Foundation Chain
Chain a multiple of 5 + 2 plus 2
Pattern
Row 1:Â
- dc in the 4th ch from the hook, *ch3, skip 3 ch, 1dc in the next 2 ch.
- Repeat from * to the end.
- ch3 and turn (counts as a dc).
Row 2:
- *5dc into the ch3sp, skip the next 2 dc.
- Repeat from * across and end with a dc in the last st (top of the ch3 turning chain)
- ch3 and turn.
Row 3:
- dc in the next st, *ch3, skip 3 st and then dc in the next 2 st.
- Repeat from * across. (you will end with your last dc in the ch3 turning chain.
- ch3 and turn.
Repeat row 2 and 3 for the pattern.
