The Crochet Cloud Stitch is a 2 row repeat that creates a soft, squishy, and textured fabric that’s perfect for cozy blankets, scarves, and more.

ch
ss
sc
dc
csc (cloud stitch cluster)
Special Stitch:Cloud stitch cluster YO (yarn over), insert hook into designated st, YO and pull through st, YO and pull through 2 loops, (without yarning over!!) insert hook into the same st, YO and pull through all the loops on your hook (there should be 3).
Note: The tops of the cloud stitch clusters will tend to curl towards the back. Be mindful of this as you sc into the tops in the subsequent rows.
Foundation Chain
Chain any even number.
Pattern
Row 1:Â
sc into the 2nd ch from the hook and in each st across (you will now have an odd number of stitches).
ch1 and turn.
Row 2: wrong side
ss into the 1st st.
