Basic stitches include chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and slip stitch.

Hair Scrunchies

These are nice full scrunchies but if you prefer them flatter, you can  just not complete part B. All you need is a hair elastic and you’re good to go!!

All these patterns are suitable for cotton and cotton/acrylic blend yarn. The addition of acrylic is nice for any project that needs a bit of extra stretch e.g. clothing items.

The original pattern is by Mary Idella, but I have updated it for 8ply yarn with a different design for the cord and threading.

You can slightly increase or decrease the ply you use for any pattern if you're not particularly concerned about the finished size being exact. Change your hook accordingly.
