Overview
The crochet Crosshatch stitch is a 1 row repeat pattern. It seems a bit complicated at first, but once you get going, it is easy to remember the sequence.
Foundation Chain
Chain a multiple of 7 + 4 plus 3
Pattern
Row 1:Â
- Skip 2 ch (counts as 1 dc), 2dc into the next ch, *skip 3ch, 1sc in next ch, ch3, 1dc into each of next 3ch.
- Repeat from * to last 4 ch, skip 3ch, 1sc into last ch.
- ch3 and turn.
Row 2:
- 2dc into the first sc, *skip 3 dc, 1sc into the first ch of ch3, then ch3, dc into each of the next 2 ch, dc into the next sc.
- Repeat from * and end by skipping the last 2 dc, 1sc into top of the turning ch.
- ch3 and turn.
Repeat row 2 for the pattern.
