Overview
Single Crochet Mesh stitch is a 1 row repeat pattern.
- To help keep the edges straight, instead of crocheting the last stitch of each row in the last sc, you may crochet into the turning chain.
- Either way is acceptable, just be consistent.
Foundation Chain
Chain any odd number of stitches.
Pattern
Row 1:
- sc in 3rd ch from hook.
- *ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch.
- Repeat from * all the way across the row.
- ch 1 and turn.
Row 2:
- sc in 1st sc, ch1.
- skip 1st ch, *sc in next sc, ch 1, skip next ch.
- Repeat from * all the way across the row.
- End the row with a sc in the last st.
- ch 1 and turn.
Repeat row 2 for the pattern.
