Overview & Special Stitches
Track stitch is a 4 row repeat pattern. It is very similar front and back. This stitch would look lovely done vertically as well.

Stitches used:
- ch
- sc
- dtr
Special Stitch: double treble (dtr)
- Yarn over three times, insert hook into the stitch and complete as you would a dc, but pulling through 2 loops 4 times.
- The ch4 at the beginning of the dtr row counts as a dtr. This is my personal preference, so you may lengthen it to 5ch which is considered standard.
Foundation Chain
Chain any number + 1
Pattern
Row 1:Â
- sc into the 2nd ch from the hook.
- sc into each ch until the end.
- turn.
Row 2:
- ch4 (counts as a dtr), sk 1st st, dtr into next and each st to end.
- turn.
Row 3 – 5:
- ch1, sc into the first st, then 1sc into next and each st to the end, working the last st into the top of the ch4.
- turn
Repeat row 2 – 5 for the pattern.
